Health tip

Summer is a great time to have fun outdoors. Unfortunately, the warm weather brings many health and safety risks including sunburns. Burns usually appear within four hours after sun exposure and can last a week. To treat minor sunburns, experts suggest:

  • Taking aspirin, acetaminophen or ibuprofen for pain
  • Drinking plenty of water
  • Taking cool baths or applying cool wet cloths to burned areas
